Bring the story of the problem
Write a short account of what changed and when. Include previous care, tests, medicines, and supplements. It is fine to read from your notes.
Describe the activities you hope to manage. Ask the clinician to explain any words that are new to you.
Ask what else needs to be checked
Medical-board guidance calls for further tests or an in-person assessment when proper care needs them.
Ask what the clinician hopes to learn from each proposed test. Ask who will explain its result and whether it carries a separate charge.
Ask about choices and uncertainty
- What do you think explains my problem?
- What options can we discuss, including waiting or seeking another opinion?
- What evidence fits my situation?
- What might lead you to change the plan?
The human studies available as of September 28, 2026 were small and left major questions about BPC-157.
Agree on who handles the next step
Ask for the plan in plain words. Make a note of who answers later questions and how to reach that person through the care service.
Ask what happens if the plan changes or you decide not to proceed.
